THE PROBLEM
There is a lost generation, desperate for truth but clouded with confusion. Our youth and young adults in Gen Z don’t know who they are, or what they are supposed to be doing. They long to live for something bigger than themselves, but struggle with the identity crisis that has taken root in our society.
58% of young adults say they lack meaning or purpose in their lives. We are witnessing a generation drowning in confusion, anxiety, loneliness, and a deep hunger to belong. Culture tells them to follow their hearts—but what if their hearts are lost?
OUR SOLUTION
In a world where many feel lost—unsure of who they are or why they exist—we proclaim the truth that each person is uniquely and beautifully created by a perfect God who loves them perfectly. Our mission is to awaken young hearts to the reality that they were never an accident but are divinely purposed for something greater.
Through truth and love, we speak life over this generation, leading them to root their identity in Christ, experience the fullness of His love, and walk in the confidence of their God-given purpose. We believe that true self-discovery begins with knowing the Creator, and in Him, they will find the love, meaning, and transformation their souls long for.

OUR CORE VALUES
LOVE
Love is at the heart of everything we do. Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors, and we believe that genuine transformation begins with compassion. Our mission is rooted in reflecting God’s perfect love—meeting people where they are and walking with them toward who they were created to be.
PURPOSE
Every person is uniquely created by God and for God. No one is an accident. We believe each life carries divine purpose and calling. At Lost to Loved, we help young people discover that they were made for more—called to walk in the good works God prepared for them.
TRUTH
We believe that truth is the highest form of love. While the world offers confusion and compromise, we proclaim truth that leads to freedom. Lies keep people bound, but the truth of God’s Word sets them free. Speaking truth—boldly and graciously—is how we truly love others.
HOPE
In a world overshadowed by fear and uncertainty, we are called to be carriers of hope. Through every gathering, message, and conversation, we shine the light of the Gospel. We exist to remind this generation that there is always hope, because with Christ, the story isn’t over—it's just beginning.

CHARISSA HOPE MATTERA
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF LOST TO LOVED MINISTRY
Charissa Hope Mattera, the visionary Founder and Director of Lost to Loved Ministry, stands at the forefront of guiding Gen Z from confusion and isolation into identity, purpose, and belonging in Christ. A dynamic leader, speaker, and content creator, Charissa has become a trusted voice on how to effectively reach and disciple the next generation.
A sought-after speaker for churches, conferences, youth events, and leadership gatherings, Charissa also leverages her platform as a content creator and influencer to connect with young people on issues of culture, faith, and identity. Her creative reach has been recognized by outlets such as the New York Post and CBS Inside Edition, where her unique ability to merge cultural relevance with timeless biblical truth has been highlighted.
Before founding Lost to Loved, Charissa served in ministry and leadership roles for over a decade at Resurrection Church in Brooklyn, NY, where she preached, led teams, and mentored young leaders. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University with a degree in Strategic Communications, and founded the first women’s leadership club (AAUW) while serving as a Community Group Leader for her peers.
Since launching Lost to Loved, Charissa has been building a movement designed to meet Gen Z where they are-through social media, mentorship, and monthly gatherings-while guiding them into lasting transformation through the Gospel. Her vision is clear: to raise up a generation who will no longer be defined by confusion or loneliness, but who will walk boldly in the truth that they were created on purpose, for a purpose.
